Partnership business description

A Partnership is a legal relationship formed between two or more persons (up to a maximum of 20) who come together to carry on a business with the goal of making a profit. This form of business is governed under the Law of Contract Act, Cap. 345, and its name must be registered with BRELA under the Business Names (Registration) Act, Cap. 213.

To register a partnership with BRELA, the following documents and conditions are required:

• At least two individuals or entities (maximum of 20).

• All partners must have:

  • National Identification Number (NIN).

  • Valid email address.

  • Mobile phone number.
